…or alternatively split up the advanced options so that boost pressure and fuel pressure can be selected individually (the Fuel PSI incorrect values issue will have to be corrected in this case though).
Pedro,
Just updated to 0.4.8 here, however it did not fix the issue I have previously reported:
– With Press. Units set to mBAR, Fuel BAR and F. Rail Bar display correctly (they correctly show as BAR, not mBAR, which would be out of range).
– With Press. Units set to BAR, Fuel BAR and F. Rail Bar display correctly (in BAR units).
– With Press. Units set to PSI, Fuel (PSI) and F. Rail (PSI) display incorrect (PSI unit) values (I get 0.0 and 0.7 when I should see 60 and 750).
While fixing this issue, I recommend keeping the behavior from the mBAR setting, meaning that with PSI selected as Pressure units, Fuel pressures should remain in BAR, as these are the common and more easily understood units for dealing with fuel pressures even in the USA. Fuel Pressure and F.Rail Pressure should always remain in BAR regardless of the Press Units selection (even PSI).
Please feel free to contact me if further clarification is needed.
Thanks in advance,
Allyn
Hi,
I have updated from v0.4.7 to v0.4.8, but I can’t access new parameters: Rear fuel pump pressure, Rear fuel pump duty cycle.
Is this available on my 1K8907115F ECU??
We already detected this issue and we are working on it. As soon as we fix the problem, we will release new firmware update. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Regards!
Dear PolarFIS Team,
The firmware has bugs. The Fuel Rail Pressure is not accurate and the Acceleration Timer is not accurate as well. Parameter Reading is off. The box fitted on Mk6 Golf R.
Thank you

Why would this be?
Hi, I just got the time to update my Polar FIS+ advance.

Hello Tom,

Our idea is take a look, but when finish this other 2 tasks, I can not confirm you when will be possible.
But for sure, we will check it (is interesting for add support to this vehicles).
Nice to hear this. So, all working perfectly ? Can you confirm us ?
Thanks. I just finished uploading the firmware.
Any chance you’ll make this available to the Audi line of vehicle’s? I’m interested in the Audi 2013 Q5, Already have in my ’08 MKV R32 and ’12 MKVI Golf R and really like the diag features for the forced induction engines
It seems, we had one issue in server side, please can you test again in 15 minutes ?
We are fixing now and I expect you will be able to upgrade without any problem.
Please, confirm us here if procedure finished successfully.
I attempted to update to 0.4.8 and I get an error:
Download success

I tried all three versions. I tried to load the English version.
I went back to version 0.4.7 and that will load in my box.
