   If computer create a virtual serial port means your device is not in bootloader mode.
   In application mode, USB port is a virtual serial port. In update mode, USB port is HID mode.

   For prevent problems, disconnect box from vehicle and retry again.

6. The software updater doesn’t seem to work on Windows 10. I’ve tried the ActiveX version in IE and the download version and neither detect the FIS, even though Windows has and has assigned it a com port. Is there a workaround? I don’t have a Windows 7 PC anymore.

   Please, connect and upgrade your unit to v0.5.0b2 (new beta)
   Aftter this, go to this menu : SCREEN->VISUALIZATION->ADVANCED->READ OPTIONS

   Later, choose DIAGNOSTICS option, please confirm me if this solve your issue.

   We already have in mind to work in DSG features, but this will need few time, due we are now focused in MQB (Golf7 platform). As soon as we finish, we will take a look and do our best for try to add this features.

   I would like to request for the support of displaying the transmission temperature, via Vag Com I am able to log the temperature via group 019 under 02-Auto Trans

   I really love the PF03, it is great product and the only shame is that it can’t display the DSG temperature 🙁

   Please please do add this to the list of options!

    I can report that the parameter reading issue with 03C 906 027 BS is NOT solved yet since 0.4.7. Last working SW with this ECU is 0.4.6. Already contacted support.

    In most of the cases, Polo vehicles are not supported due not exists gateway phisically. By the way, please make an autoscan with Vagcom or other diagnosis software, and send us to support@auto-polar.com, and we will confirm you 100% if is supported or not. Regards!

    We already fixed this issue, we replaced the text “E. 1 mg/Hub” and now appears “E.1 m/str” (more shorter), this now will make you be able to see parameter desired.

    Please, go to the UpdaterTool and flash your device with last beta version v0.5.0b2
    After this, confirm us here if problem was solved.

    i want to see Injection Quantity, D.1 m/str.
    I can see, that that the parameters are available because sometimes the comma changes, but i cannot see any value because the text for the name of the parameter is to long.

    I am using 0.4.9 and a white maxi dot display, german language. Is there a possibility for me to change the parameters name?

    He instalado esta nueva versión en mi polar fis+ [PF03], todo ha ido bien salvo cuando e intentado entrar en el menu del telefono para ver la agenda y cual a sido mi sorpresa que ya no puedo volver al menu principal… se ha quedado como “pillado” y la pantalla se muestra toda roja e inaccesible a las opciones del menu ( ya he probado a apagar el coche sacar la llave y volver a probar y nada )
    ¿ Me recomiendas que haga un downgrade a una versión inferior ?, con polar fis+ en alguna version siempre me ha dado problemas usar el manos libres del coche o bien porque no reconoce la agenda o los botones multifuncion del volante… pero nunca se ha quedado colgado de manera que explicado anteriormente.
    ¿Conoceis algún caso que de problemas el polar con la funcion de manos libres?
    Mi coche es Seat Leon II (2007) -> cluster red

25. Hello Sastil,

    Let me try to be more clear, i think i not explained properly before. The problem not comes from PolarFIS, it comes from your ECU. Your ECU not support this A/C parameters so we can not read from it. PolarFIS only read information that ECU get from your vehicle but your ECU not read this information so we can not show it. This means only replacing ECU will fix this (we can not do nothing from our side).

27. For confirm you, we verified and your engine ECU not support this parameters, so we not receive any value and we can not to show in the cluster (FIS screen).

28. Hello Sastil,

    My vehicle not show all available parameters , Why?

    Exists 3 main reasons for this :

    A) Some parameters are only available for diesel engines and others for gasoline engines. So, have in mind that is possible you not will see all parameters available in your vehicle (all depends on your engine type).

    B) Your ECU not support all parameters. Some ECUs not give the values of some parameters and this is the reason why we not show on your cluster (FIS display)

    C) For last, another possibility is that you not have some “sensors” and obviously PolarFIS not will read it (for example oil sensor). In this case, the value will be shown at zero (0).

30. Problem of DPF is solved and firmware files has been updated into support area. If any other have this issue simply must reflash again box with actual v049 files from support area and issue will dissapear. Thanks for reporting us this,

32. Hi,

    Could you please add the feature to adjust the digital speed reading, the needle gauges in the car read different from the digital reading. Being able to increase the digital read by for example 2% would be great. At the moment it reads true speed but would be better to read slightly over for safety when going past speed cameras etc. All OEM speedos read high, digital or needle for this reason. That would be a great mod, please can this be done asap ?

    In my Octavia 1z pre FL (2008) 2.0TDI (BMM) dont work DPF inlet and outlet temperature in version 0.4.9. It show always 1275°C. The Version 0.4.6 show the correct temperature.

    I upgraded and their were no issues with my 2010 Golf. FYI, My ECU did not recognize the two new A/C parameters that were added, If you need additional info on my ECU, let me know.

    I still can not access LPFP duty and pressure. It wasn’t working with v0.4.8 and it’s not working with v0.4.9 either.
