Fix damaged box : HowTo repair PolarFIS software damaged
This issue happen after not upgrade properly one PolarFIS device (fix damaged box). Reasons can be that ActiveX or Updater Tool not works correctly, of have any problem during flashing (no internet connection, box unplugged during flashing, etc …) and leave your PolarFIS in this “zombi” state. In other cases, internal firmware is corrupt by other different causes.
By the way, there is an easy solution for this problem (fix damaged box and firmware corrupted), so not be worried. We attach here a little instructions about it, and one video of one unit in this state, and procedure for repare it. Is pretty easy, you can see yourself. As always, for any help, not doubt in contact with our support team, and they will kinly assist in anything you need (via forum, official website, etc.)
So, let start and follow this instructions carefully :
First of all, we need that contact with us at firstname.lastname@example.org and send us the next information (verify all before send) :
- Serial of your product (8 numeric digits)
- Type of product (PolarFIS or PolarBT)
- Photo of the device (for know your hardware version)
With all this information recovered from your unit, we will prepare a “customized” firmware for you, and later we will upload to the support area. After this, we will confirm you that the patch for repair your unit is already available (confirmation via email), and now you will be able to flash your device and restore it to a normal state. Later simply try to upgrade your PolarFIS device, and you will see now you can flash with any firmware available in support and the issue “fix damaged box” will be solved it. At the bottom of this article we leave you one video showing this flashing/repair procedure.
